Our Story & Teaching Approach
We built this organization around a simple goal, to make high quality, clinically grounded CPR and First Aid training accessible, calm, and straightforward for our neighbors.
Our trauma-informed approach respects past experiences and anxiety, while our small-group format gives space for questions and step-by-step coaching. We travel to workplaces and community sites or welcome you into scheduled classes. If you are ready to plan training, contact us to discuss dates, course options, and your group's needs.
Safety
We follow current American Heart Association guidelines and OSHA-informed practices.
Compassion
We teach with a trauma-informed mindset that respects every learner's story.
Local
We prioritize small groups, local workplaces, and families who protect one another.
Lead Instructor
Claire B. Crompton, RN brings hospital and community nursing experience into every CPR and First Aid class she teaches. As an American Heart Association (AHA) Heartsaver Instructor and AHA BLS Instructor, with CPR/AED and First Aid Instructor certifications, Claire translates current AHA-aligned training into clear, step-by-step instruction for beginners and returning learners.
As the founder of this locally owned business, Claire created East Mountain CPR Solutions to make quality emergency training more accessible to local families, workplaces, and healthcare professionals without requiring long-distance travel. She provides OSHA-compliant workplace training and hands-on instruction designed to help learners understand both what to do and why it matters.
Claire’s trauma-informed teaching approach recognizes that discussing cardiac emergencies or previous experiences can be difficult. She checks in with learners, creates space for questions, and provides additional support when needed.
